BRAND

Laurent Ferrier worked for Patek Philippe for more than 30 years, where he rose to the position of technical director. In parallel, he was fond of car racing and, for example, in 1979 he even participated in LeMans races, where he took third place and was behind a guy named Paul Newman. Watch lovers will now understand what I mean. How cool is it, watchmaker Patek Philippe comes third in the LeMans race after Paul Newman. That's how you can describe the watchmaker Laurent Ferrier.

In 2010, in the Swiss place Vernier, near Geneva, Laurent Ferrier opened his own brand, under the name Laurent Ferrier, for the production of watches exclusively handmade. In total, about 100-150 watches are released annually from the LF workshop. For comparison, Patek Philippe produces about 50,000 watches a year, and Rolex produces a million. With such numbers, you begin to rethink what luxury really is.
