The Historiques collection brings together Vacheron Constantin's reissues: since 1991 the Geneva manufacture has been reviving models from its own archive.

The 222 first appeared in 1977. It was designed by Jorg Hysek for Vacheron Constantin's 222nd anniversary, and the Overseas collection traces its lineage to it. The reissue features a notched bezel, a Maltese cross at the bottom of the case and an integrated bracelet. Its proportions are historical, but the movement is new: calibre 2455/2 was developed specifically for the modern version. In January 2025, for the brand's 270th anniversary, the 222 was also released in steel.

Another model in the line is the American 1921, originally made for the American market. Its dial is rotated by 45 degrees so that a driver could read the time without taking their hands off the wheel. The case is cushion-shaped and asymmetrical. The 2026 versions are made in 18 ct rose gold, in 36.5 mm or 40 mm.

Within the line, choose the model first — each has its own case shape and dial layout — then the metal, size and type of winding. The collection includes the 222 reissue in yellow gold with a 37 mm case; its rotor is also in 18 ct gold, engraved with the 222 logo. Alongside it are the square Carrée Historique 1936 in 32 mm and models bearing the Malte name — a chronograph and a dual time watch. The Malte line and the related Les Historiques have their own pages.

Each listing gives the reference, case material and size, calibre, movement type, power reserve and strap.
