The Breguet Marine Lady Chronograph (ref. 8828BB) is a ladies' sports watch with a 34.6 mm round case in white gold. It has a silver and white dial under sapphire crystal.
It is powered by the self-winding mechanical calibre 550 with a power reserve of 45 hours. Functions: Chronograph, date. Water-resistant to 50 m. The watch is fitted with a Marine strap with a folding clasp in white gold.
This example is pre-owned and in good condition, and comes with the original box and papers.
The Breguet 550 caliber is based on a column-wheel chronograph design. It has automatic winding and is adjusted in five positions.

Breguet was founded in Paris in 1775 by Abraham-Louis Breguet, one of the most influential watchmakers in history. He is credited with the tourbillon, patented in 1801, as well as the Breguet overcoil and the self-winding perpétuelle watch. Many of the house's design codes, such as Breguet hands, hand-turned guilloché dials and fluted case bands, go back to his workshop. The manufacture is now in the Vallée de Joux and belongs to the Swatch Group.
