Laureato is the sports line of the Swiss brand Girard-Perregaux: wristwatches with an integrated bracelet, first introduced in 1975. The design was created by a Milanese architect. Its key idea — an octagonal bezel on a round case base — runs through every watch in the collection, from steel three-hand models to tourbillons. Case surfaces are satin-brushed, edges and bevels polished, and the same alternation of matt and polished continues on the bracelet links.
The Laureato range includes:
- three-hand watches with date — Laureato Steel 42mm, Laureato Steel Green Dial, Laureato Heritage 41 mm Limited Edition 225;
- chronographs — Chronograph 42 mm and Laureato Chronograph Aston Martin Edition;
- black ceramic Laureato Skeleton Ceramic skeletons;
- tourbillons;
- the sporty Rallye Monte-Carlo Historique on a rubber strap.
Cases are made of stainless steel, ceramic, rose gold or titanium; all have sapphire crystal and an in-house automatic movement.
The main choices are function and material. The dial deserves separate attention: on the steel three-hand models and the Chronograph 42 mm it is decorated with Clous de Paris guilloché, whose relief changes in different light. Each product page lists the calibre, power reserve, water resistance and case size, as well as condition and what is included.
