Breguet Reine de Naples

ABOUT COLLECTION

The Reine de Naples collection holds a special place in the history of haute horlogerie. Breguet named it after Caroline Murat, Napoleon's sister and Queen of Naples, who commissioned from Abraham-Louis Breguet the first known wristwatch. The modern Reine de Naples collection has been produced since 2002.

Its key feature is a vertically elongated oval case. The case band is fluted, the crown sits at 4 o'clock, and the strap is attached at the bottom via a ball at 6 o'clock. The hour ring is set off-centre towards the bottom of the dial, and the blued-steel Breguet hands end in “pomme” tips.

All the models in the collection covered here are women's watches.
