Bvlgari Serpenti

ABOUT COLLECTION

Bvlgari Serpenti is a collection of watches and jewellery from the Roman jewellery house Bvlgari built around the motif of the snake: the drop-shaped case echoes its head, and the bracelet or strap its body. The brand released its first snake watches in the late 1940s. Almost all Serpenti watches are women's models.

The main families are Serpenti Tubogas and Serpenti Seduttori. On the Tubogas, a flexible spiral bracelet coils around the wrist without a clasp. On the Seduttori, the drop-shaped case flows into a bracelet of hexagonal links resembling scales; the Custom Diamonds versions also belong to Seduttori. On a strap are the Serpenti Incantati and the Serpenti 27mm Rose Gold and Diamonds with a multi-coil leather strap. Serpenti Misteriosi are secret watches belonging to high jewellery. The Serpenti collection also includes jewellery, such as an 18-carat pink gold ring with diamonds.

Within the line, watches are chosen by three criteria. The first is bracelet or strap, and here the main question is the Tubogas spiral or the Seduttori links. The second is case material and size: steel, pink and white gold, and two-tone steel and pink gold, with diameters from 27 to 40 mm and diamond bezels on many models. The third is the movement: most are quartz, but there are also self-winding and hand-wound mechanical models. Other Bvlgari collections include Octo, Lvcea and Divas' Dream.
