F.P. Journe Élégante

ABOUT COLLECTION

F.P. Journe Élégante is the electro-mechanical collection of the independent Geneva manufacture F.P. Journe, founded by watchmaker François-Paul Journe. These are everyday watches that need no winding. All use the electro-mechanical quartz calibre 1210, which took eight years to develop. The calibre works together with a mechanical motion sensor: while the watch lies still, the hands stop to save the battery, and once it is on the wrist they automatically return to the correct time. The collection is recognisable by its Flat Tortue case and its fully luminous dial.

Within the collection, the choice is first of all by size and case finish: men's models are 48 mm and the compact women's models 34–35 mm. The light titanium case has a matt finish or a Titalyt treatment, and some women's models have diamonds along the sides of the case. All have sapphire crystal and a rubber strap with a titanium buckle.

The condition and what is included with each piece are listed on its product page.
