The Executive Dual Time is the business line from Ulysse Nardin, the Swiss manufacture in Le Locle. Its purpose is a second time zone that can be changed on the move: the quick-change time-zone system was developed for the brand by Ludwig Oechslin in 1994 and arrived in the Executive collection in 2010. It is operated by two ceramic pushers on the left side of the case, so local time can be adjusted while travelling simply by pressing them, without pulling out the crown.
The dial is recognisable by the rectangular frame at its centre and the oversized Roman numerals. The strap is attached to the case by three-pronged lugs, which spread the load across the strap pins and leave no play against the case. Inside is the calibre UN-24, a self-winding movement, with an anti-reflective sapphire crystal and a transparent caseback showing the movement; the power reserve is 42 or 48 hours — the exact figure is given in each listing.
Men's versions are the Executive Dual Time in steel and in 18 ct rose gold, some with a black ceramic bezel, all with a black dial. Ladies' models are the Executive Dual Time Ladies, Dual Time Lady and GMT Big Date Ladies: cases in stainless steel and rose gold, mother-of-pearl or champagne dials, diamond markers and in some cases diamond-set bezels. The classic Ulysse Nardin Dual Time line and the Executive collection have their own pages.
Each listing gives the condition, what is included, the reference, calibre, case size and material.
