Ulysse Nardin Marine Diver

The Marine Diver collection comprises the diving watches of Ulysse Nardin, the Le Locle brand that began with marine chronometers. The dial layout comes from those chronometers: a power reserve indicator at 12 o'clock and small seconds at 6 o'clock with an integrated date window under a magnifying lens. The case has a rotating bezel and sapphire crystal, and the watches here use the automatic calibre UN-26 with a 42-hour power reserve.

The main choices are case material and dial. Options include stainless steel with black PVD coating, steel combined with titanium, 18 ct rose gold, and steel coated in vulcanised rubber with gold-toned bezel details. The dial is most often embossed with a wave pattern; the Hammerhead Shark has hammerhead sharks on a blue dial, and the Maxi Marine Diver Monaco YS Limited carries Monaco Yacht Show insignia. Straps are rubber, with ceramic, titanium or gold inserts at the lugs. Several models were made in limited series and have "Limited" in their name.
