The Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Automatic 37 mm Rose Gold (ref. 15451OR.ZZ.1256OR.01.A) is a ladies' sports watch with a 37 mm octagonal case in rose gold. It has a grey dial under sapphire crystal.

It is powered by the self-winding mechanical calibre AP 3120 with a power reserve of 60 hours. Functions: Date. Water-resistant to 50 m. The watch is fitted with a Royal Oak bracelet with an AP folding clasp in rose gold.

This example is in perfect condition, and comes with the original box and papers.

The in-house AP 3120 caliber was developed and produced by Audemars Piguet. It has a solid 22-carat gold rotor on ceramic bearings and a balance bridge with two supports for better shock resistance.

ABOUT BRAND

Audemars Piguet was founded in 1875 in Le Brassus, in the Vallée de Joux, by Jules-Louis Audemars and Edward-Auguste Piguet, and is still owned by the founding families. The house built its reputation on complicated watches and, in 1972, launched the Royal Oak, designed by Gérald Genta: a steel sports watch with an octagonal bezel held by eight visible screws, a "Tapisserie" dial and an integrated bracelet.

The Royal Oak family dominates the range: the classic Royal Oak in steel, gold, titanium and ceramic, the slim "Jumbo" Extra-Thin, openworked and skeleton versions, perpetual calendars and tourbillon chronographs. The larger, sportier Royal Oak Offshore followed in 1993, alongside the Royal Oak Concept and the round Code 11.59 collection introduced in 2019.
