Cartier Calibre de Cartier

ABOUT COLLECTION

Calibre de Cartier was introduced by Cartier in 2010: with these men's sports watches the house began fitting the automatic calibre 1904 MC, developed and produced entirely in its own manufacture, in series production. The calibre number refers to 1904, the year Cartier made the first Santos wristwatch for the aviator Alberto Santos-Dumont.

The core of the line consists of three-hand models with small seconds at 6 o'clock, a chronograph with the column-wheel calibre 1904-CH MC, and the Calibre de Cartier Diver dive watch. Cases were made of stainless steel, pink gold and two-tone steel and pink gold.

The collection has been discontinued, so besides the version and case material, condition and completeness — box and papers — matter when choosing.
