Hublot Square Bang

ABOUT COLLECTION

Hublot is a Swiss watch manufacture from Nyon. Square Bang is the square branch of the Big Bang family: the collection came out in 2022 and translates the signature "sandwich" case into a square. The multi-layer construction, six H-shaped screws on the bezel and protective side inserts remain in place, so the watch is recognisable as a Hublot at first glance.

Inside are self-winding flyback chronographs on the in-house calibre HUB1280 from the Unico family. The column wheel and double clutch of the movement are placed on the dial side. The skeletonised dial reveals their operation, so the chronograph can be seen at work every time it is started.

Within the line, watches are chosen by case material and colour. Square Bang is made in titanium, black and coloured ceramic, and the brand's 18k King Gold alloy with a higher platinum content.

One example is the Square Bang Unico Blue Ceramic, reference 821.EX.5170.RX: a 42 mm square case in polished and satin-finished blue ceramic, a blue skeletonised dial and a date at 3 o'clock. Its calibre HUB1280 consists of 354 parts and has a 72-hour power reserve.
