Zenith Academy

Zenith Academy is the brand's line of complicated watches from the Swiss manufacture in Le Locle. The collection is built on high complications layered over high-frequency movements: the tourbillon, the fusée-and-chain constant-force system and the Gravity Control gyroscopic module. This explains the look of the line: large cases, open dials and domed sapphire crystals that accommodate the voluminous parts of the movement.

The collection is represented by the tourbillon chronograph Academy Tourbillon Chronograph Platinum, reference 40.1260.4005. Inside is the in-house self-winding calibre El Primero 4005: 36,000 vibrations per hour, 319 components and a 50-hour power reserve. The case measures 45 mm.
