Zenith Defy Skyline

ABOUT COLLECTION

Defy Skyline is the integrated-bracelet sports line within the Defy family of the Swiss manufacture Zenith, introduced in 2022. It is based on the geometry of the 1969 Defy: an octagonal case, a 12-sided bezel and a dial engraved with a pattern of four-pointed stars — the brand's historic logo. The case surfaces are satin-finished and the bevels polished, so each facet catches the light differently.

In the Defy Skyline collection the key decision is size, as it determines the movement. The 41 mm watches are fitted with the high-frequency El Primero 3620 calibre with a dedicated 1/10th-of-a-second indicator. The 36 mm case houses the slim Elite 670 without that indicator, and some of these models have a diamond-set bezel. Here the 41 mm watches are listed as men's and the 36 mm as ladies', but both sizes are worth trying on.

Next come material and dial. Steel cases come on a steel bracelet, while the Defy Skyline Black Ceramic is made of black ceramic. Dials are black, blue, silver and mint green. A separate version is the Defy Skyline Skeleton, whose blue star-shaped skeleton dial reveals the El Primero 3620 SK movement. The other branches of the family — Defy, Defy Classic, Defy Extreme and Defy Xtreme — have their own pages.

Each listing gives the reference, calibre, power reserve, water resistance, condition and what is included.
