Blancpain Leman

ABOUT COLLECTION

Blancpain Leman is a sporty-classic collection from the Swiss manufacture in Le Brassus, named after the French name for Lake Geneva, Lac Léman. Blancpain launched it in 1994 as the 2100 series in a 38 mm case, moved the watches to a 40 mm case in the mid-2000s and discontinued the line in the 2010s.

Within the Leman collection, the choice starts with the complication. The Leman Grande Date Aqua Lung with a black dial has a large date at 6 o'clock. The Reveil GMT combines a mechanical alarm with a second time zone; the Leman GMT and Leman Double Time Zone add a day/night indicator to the second time zone; and the Leman Moonphase & Complete Calendar shows a full calendar with moon phase. Among the haute horlogerie complications are a perpetual calendar with flyback chronograph in the Léman Perpetual Calendar Chronograph 18K Yellow Gold and a tourbillon in the Léman Tourbillon 18K White Gold 38 mm.

Next come size and metal: cases range from 37.5 to 40 mm, in stainless steel, titanium with pink gold details, or 18-carat yellow, pink or white gold.
