Métiers d'Art is the collection in which Blancpain shows the decorative crafts practised in its own workshop: hand engraving, grand feu enamel, damascening (inlaying gold wire into steel), shakudo and other metal-working techniques. Each dial or movement is worked by hand, so pieces are often unique or made in very small numbers.
The collection uses Blancpain's high complications as a base, including minute repeaters, carrousels and skeletonised eight-day movements, combining artistic decoration with mechanical complexity.
