Richard Mille RM 030

ABOUT COLLECTION

The Richard Mille RM 030 is an automatic model from the Swiss brand, introduced in 2011. The line is built around a declutchable rotor: once the mainspring is fully wound, the rotor disengages automatically and stops winding it, so the spring never works at maximum tension. The manufacturer now lists the RM 030 among its historical models.

The case is a three-part tonneau: bezel, middle and caseback are assembled with titanium spline screws. The curve of the caseback follows the line of the wrist. The skeletonised dial reveals the movement's gear train and carries a power reserve indicator, a rotor status indicator and the date.

Within the line, the choice is first about case material, such as ceramic or titanium. The Blue Ceramic EMEA Limited Edition has a case in blue ceramic and white composite. The Automatic Titanium has a titanium case with a transparent caseback. After that, condition and completeness of set decide.
